Wells, with the help of Exley, is able to kill the infected terrorists and take out their leader, Khadri, thwarting their plans. There’s a constant back and forth with John Wells trying to prove his loyalty to both sides, a love interest, and a ticking-bomb type ending.
Not on purpose, anyway.
